A simple, refreshing drink combining pink Himalayan salt, fresh lemon juice, and natural sweeteners to provide a clean energy boost without jitters or crash.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt (fine grind)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (about half a medium lemon)
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey or maple syrup
  • 1 cup filtered water (240 ml), chilled or room temperature
  • Optional: 1/2 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
  • Optional: a pinch of cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Juice your lemon: Cut the lemon in half and squeeze out about 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of fresh juice, removing any seeds.
  2. Add the pink salt: Measure 1/4 teaspoon of finely ground pink Himalayan salt into your mixing container.
  3. Sweeten the mix: Add 1 teaspoon of raw honey or maple syrup and stir or shake gently to start dissolving it into the salt and lemon juice.
  4. Add optional ingredients: If desired, grate about 1/2 teaspoon of fresh ginger into the mix and add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
  5. Pour in the water: Add 1 cup (240 ml) of filtered water, chilled or room temperature.
  6. Mix well: Seal your jar or stir vigorously until the honey and salt are fully dissolved, resulting in a smooth, slightly cloudy liquid.
  7. Taste and adjust: Add more lemon juice for tang or a little extra honey to mellow the flavor if needed.
  8. Serve immediately: Pour into your favorite glass and enjoy. Add ice cubes if preferred.

Notes

Use fresh lemon juice for best flavor. Fine grind pink salt dissolves better than coarse. Adjust sweetness last to avoid overpowering the mineral freshness. Consume fresh for best taste and nutrient retention. Can be stored up to 24 hours in fridge; stir before drinking. Optional ingredients add digestive and metabolic benefits. For a sparkling version, substitute still water with sparkling mineral water.
