A simple and mineral-rich morning tonic made by soaking pink Himalayan salt in water overnight, providing a gentle detox and hydration boost to start your day refreshed.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) coarse pink Himalayan salt
  • 1 cup (240 ml) filtered water, room temperature or cool

Instructions

  1. Measure the salt: Add 1/4 cup (60 ml) of coarse pink Himalayan salt to your clean glass jar.
  2. Add water: Pour in 1 cup (240 ml) of filtered, room temperature water.
  3. Stir to combine: Use your spoon to stir gently until the salt grains start to dissolve.
  4. Seal and soak: Screw the lid onto the jar tightly and place it at room temperature overnight (about 12 hours).
  5. Check the sole: The next morning, the sole water should look slightly pinkish and clear. Stir and strain if needed.
  6. Prepare your morning tonic: Mix 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of the sole concentrate with 8 ounces (240 ml) of fresh filtered water. Stir well.
  7. Enjoy mindfully: Sip slowly, preferably before breakfast.

Notes

Use coarse pink Himalayan salt for slow mineral release. Avoid hot water to preserve minerals. Soak overnight for at least 12 hours. Adjust dilution to taste. Store sole concentrate sealed at room temperature away from sunlight; lasts up to a month. Use glass containers to avoid metallic taste. If too salty, dilute with more water. Optional flavor boosts include lemon, lime, mint, rosemary, or ginger.
