Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (225g) softened cream cheese
  • 1 cup (100g) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup (75g) chopped dried cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) honey
  • 1 tablespoon (6g) orange zest
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup (65g) finely chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 8 oz (225g) softened cream cheese and 1 cup (100g) shredded sharp cheddar cheese. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add 1/2 cup (75g) chopped dried cranberries, 1 tablespoon (15ml) honey, and 1 tablespoon (6g) orange zest. Stir until well combined.
  3. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper, adjusting to taste.
  4. Shape the mixture into a ball using a spatula or your hands. Wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1-2 hours to firm up.
  5. Before serving, roll the cheese ball in 1/2 cup (65g) finely chopped pecans to coat evenly. Press lightly to ensure the pecans stick.
  6. Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with extra cranberries and orange zest, if desired. Serve with crackers, breadsticks, or fresh veggie sticks.
