Warm, cinnamon-sugar churro flavor meets creamy cheesecake in these easy-to-make dessert bars, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of crescent roll dough
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Lightly grease your baking dish with non-stick spray or butter.
  2. In a small bowl, mix 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon for your crust. Set aside.
  3. Unroll half of your crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared baking dish, ensuring it covers the entire base.
  4. Sprinkle half of your cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the dough.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add 1/2 cup sugar, vanilla extract, and egg, mixing until fully combined and creamy.
  6. Spread the cheesecake filling over the cinnamon-sugar crust, smoothing it out with a spatula.
  7. Unroll the remaining crescent roll dough and layer it over the cheesecake filling. Be gentle to avoid tearing the dough.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture over the top layer of dough.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and slightly puffed. The cheesecake layer should look set but still jiggle slightly.
  10. Cool completely before slicing into bars. Serve as is or with a drizzle of caramel sauce for extra indulgence.

[‘Make sure your cream cheese is softened for a smoother filling.’, ‘Press the crescent roll dough firmly into the pan for a stable crust.’, ‘Let the bars cool completely before slicing to ensure clean edges.’, ‘These bars taste even better the next day as the flavors meld together.’]
