Bright, whimsical, and easy-to-make marshmallow pops coated in white chocolate and rainbow sprinkles, perfect for kids’ parties and festive occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 large white marshmallows
  • 12 ounces (340 grams) white chocolate or candy melts
  • Β½ cup rainbow nonpareils or sprinkles (use gluten-free if needed)
  • 12 pop sticks or wooden skewers
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil or coconut oil
  • Optional: edible glitter or colored sanding sugar for extra shimmer

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place sprinkles in a small bowl nearby.
  2. Insert a pop stick halfway into each marshmallow, ensuring it is secure but not squished. Set aside on the parchment paper.
  3. Melt the white chocolate or candy melts with 1 teaspoon of vegetable or coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Alternatively, melt using a double boiler.
  4. Dip each marshmallow fully into the melted candy coating, letting excess drip back into the bowl for a smooth, even coat.
  5. Immediately sprinkle rainbow nonpareils generously over the coated marshmallow or roll/tap in the sprinkles bowl for full coverage.
  6. Place the dipped marshmallows back on the parchment paper and let them set at room temperature for 20-30 minutes until the coating hardens.
  7. Optional: Dust with edible glitter or colored sanding sugar once the coating is slightly firm but still tacky.
  8. Serve immediately or store as directed.

Notes

Thin the candy melts with a teaspoon of oil for easier dipping and a glossy finish. Work quickly when applying sprinkles as the coating sets fast. Store marshmallow pops in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerated for up to a week. Bring to room temperature before serving for best texture.
