This vibrant, jewel-toned punch combines pomegranate juice, fresh citrus, and lively bubbles for a refreshing, crowd-pleasing drink perfect for parties and gatherings. It’s quick to make, endlessly adaptable, and always the first thing to disappear from the drinks table.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups pomegranate juice (unsweetened)
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 cup simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water, simmered until dissolved)
  • 2 cups club soda or sparkling water (plain or lemon/lime flavored)
  • 2 cups ginger ale or lemon-lime soda (optional, for sweeter punch)
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate arils (from 1 fresh pomegranate)
  • 12 oranges, thinly sliced
  • 12 limes, thinly sliced
  • Small handful fresh mint leaves
  • Ice cubes or large ice ring

Instructions

  1. Prepare the simple syrup: Combine 1/2 cup granulated sugar and 1/2 cup water in a small saucepan. Heat gently, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely. Cool to room temperature.
  2. Juice enough oranges to yield 1 cup and enough limes for 1/4 cup. Strain out seeds and pulp if desired.
  3. In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine pomegranate juice, orange juice, lime juice, and simple syrup. Stir well and adjust sweetness to taste.
  4. Add pomegranate arils, orange slices, lime slices, and mint leaves to the punch base.
  5. Cover and refrigerate the punch base for up to 2 hours to let flavors meld (optional).
  6. Right before serving, pour in club soda or sparkling water (and ginger ale or lemon-lime soda if using). Stir gently to preserve bubbles.
  7. Serve over ice in glasses, making sure each glass gets fruit and mint. Top with extra bubbles if desired.

Notes

Chill all ingredients before mixing for maximum fizz. Add sparkling water or soda just before serving to keep bubbles fresh. Adjust sweetness and tartness to taste. Garnish with extra fruit and mint for a festive look. For a grown-up version, add 1 cup vodka, prosecco, or white rum. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days and revive with fresh bubbles.
