This Bacon Cheeseburger Queso Dip combines the smoky richness of bacon, savory beef, and gooey cheese into a creamy, indulgent dip perfect for parties or cozy nights in.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 6 strips thick-cut bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can Rotel tomatoes (diced tomatoes with green chilies)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped green onions or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat your skillet over medium heat. Add the bacon strips and cook until crispy, about 8-10 minutes. Remove and place on paper towels to drain, then crumble once cooled.
  2. In the same skillet, add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Drain any excess grease.
  3. Lower the heat to medium-low. Add the cubed Velveeta cheese, softened cream cheese, and shredded cheddar to the skillet with the beef.
  4. Stir in the Rotel tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard. Keep stirring until everything is melted and fully combined.
  5. Add the crumbled bacon to the dip and stir gently to distribute the smoky flavor.
  6. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and garnish with chopped green onions or parsley if desired. Serve immediately with tortilla chips, crackers, or veggie sticks.

Notes

[‘Drain excess grease from the beef to avoid an oily dip.’, ‘Freshly shredded cheddar melts better than pre-shredded cheese.’, ‘Melt the cheese over medium-low heat to prevent scorching or separation.’, ‘Cook the bacon and beef ahead of time for quicker assembly.’, ‘Add diced jalapeΓ±os or hot sauce for a spicier version.’]
