  • 1 ½ cups shredded whole milk mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ cup marinara sauce (optional, for dipping or spreading inside)
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Place your pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat up while you prep.
  2. Cook the chopped bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels to remove excess grease.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a roughly 12×12 inch square. Brush the dough lightly with olive oil and sprinkle garlic powder evenly over the top.
  4. Spread the cooked bacon evenly over the dough, then add the sliced jalapeños. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and parmesan cheeses on top evenly.
  5. Optional: Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the dough before adding toppings for extra sauciness.
  6. Cut the dough into 1 ½-inch squares using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
  7. Transfer the parchment-lined baking sheet or preheated pizza stone with the cut dough squares onto it. Bake for 12-15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly and edges are golden brown.
  8. Let the pizza bites cool for about 5 minutes to firm up. Serve warm with extra marinara or ranch dressing for dipping.

Notes

Cook bacon separately to ensure crispiness and prevent soggy crust. Use fresh jalapeños for best crunch and flavor. Remove seeds for milder heat. Preheat baking surface for crispier crust. Can be made ahead and reheated. Air fryer method: cook at 375°F for 8-10 minutes for extra crispiness.
