A tangy and creamy ranch dip made with Greek yogurt and topped with a crispy Parmesan crust, perfect for parties and easy to prepare overnight.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (475 ml) Greek yogurt (preferably full-fat)
  • 2 tablespoons ranch seasoning mix (store-bought or homemade with dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, and parsley)
  • ½ cup (120 ml) mayonnaise (can substitute with dairy-free mayo)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • ¾ cup (75 g) Parmesan cheese, finely grated
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, and ranch seasoning mix. Whisk or stir until smooth and well blended, about 2 minutes.
  2. Stir in minced garlic, chopped chives, chopped parsley, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Spoon the dip mixture into an 8×8 inch (20×20 cm) oven-safe baking dish, smoothing the top evenly.
  4. Sprinkle the finely grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top to form a consistent layer.
  5. Cover loosely with plastic wrap or foil and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight to let flavors meld and texture firm up.
  6. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Remove cover and bake the dip for 15-18 minutes until the Parmesan crust is bubbling and golden brown. Rotate dish halfway if needed.
  7. Let the dip cool for 5 minutes before serving to help the crust firm up.

Notes

Letting the dip chill overnight is essential for flavor development and texture. Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best crispy crust. Rotate the dish halfway through baking for even browning. Avoid microwaving leftovers to keep the crust crispy.
