  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

  3. Pour wet ingredients into dry and gently fold with a spoon or spatula just until combined. Avoid overmixing.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
  5. Using a small cookie scoop or spoon, portion batter into roughly 1-inch balls (about 12-15 donut holes). Place on parchment-lined plate.
  6. Arrange donut holes in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
  7. Cook at 350°F (175°C) for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway through for even browning.
  8. While cooking, mix 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon with ¼ cup granulated sugar in a shallow bowl.
  9. Immediately toss hot donut holes in cinnamon sugar mixture to coat.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

If batter is too sticky, refrigerate for 10 minutes before shaping. Avoid overcrowding air fryer basket to ensure crispiness. Flip donut holes halfway through cooking for even browning. Can bake at 375°F for 10-12 minutes if no air fryer is available.
