  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Wash and chop the broccoli florets into small pieces, about the size of a pea.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chopped broccoli, shredded cheddar cheese, grated parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Beat the eggs and add them to the bowl, mixing until the ingredients are well-coated and stick together.
  4. Using your hands, scoop out small portions of the mixture and form them into bite-sized balls.
  5. Roll each ball in panko breadcrumbs until fully coated. Press lightly to ensure the breadcrumbs stick.
  6. Preheat your air fryer to 375Β°F (190Β°C) for about 3 minutes.
  7. Place the broccoli bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray lightly with olive oil.
  8. Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Allow the bites to cool for 2-3 minutes before serving.
