A creamy, cheesy spinach artichoke dip made effortlessly in a slow cooker, topped with a sweet and tangy maple Dijon glaze. Perfect for entertaining, game nights, and cozy gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 10 oz frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 14 oz canned artichoke hearts, drained and roughly chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Thaw the frozen spinach completely and squeeze out as much moisture as possible using a clean kitchen towel or cheesecloth. Roughly chop the drained artichoke hearts and mince the garlic.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Beat with a spatula until smooth and creamy (about 2-3 minutes).
  3. Stir in the shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly combined.
  4. Fold in the drained spinach and chopped artichokes gently but thoroughly.
  5. Lightly grease the slow cooker insert to prevent sticking. Spread the dip mixture evenly inside and cover with the lid.
  6. Set the slow cooker to low and cook for 2 hours, stirring once halfway through.
  7. While the dip cooks, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar in a small bowl until smooth.
  8. Once the dip is ready, drizzle the maple Dijon glaze over the top. Gently swirl it in or leave as a glossy topping. Serve warm with crackers, sliced baguette, or fresh veggies.

Notes

If dip is too thick, stir in a splash of milk or cream before serving. Avoid overcooking to prevent separation. Freshly shred cheeses for best melt and texture. Use a clean towel to squeeze spinach dry to avoid watery dip. Maple Dijon glaze adds a sweet and tangy balance—do not skip.
