Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 lean)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (regular or seasoned)
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped pickles
  • 1/4 cup ketchup (plus extra for topping)
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard (for topping)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)

Instructions

  3. Transfer the meat mixture to the prepared loaf pan, pressing it down gently to shape. Smooth out the surface.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together ketchup and mustard to create the topping. Spread this evenly over the meatloaf with a spatula.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the meatloaf reaches 160Β°F (71Β°C).
  6. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy.
